Our Story
Born of the jungle, shaped by the sea
01The Sanctuary
Hidden beneath a canopy of palms and wild monstera, Maknuk Village is a place to slow down. We built every villa around the trees — never in place of them — so the jungle remains the true host.
Maknuk is a small village of light-filled villas, a crystal pool and quiet paths that wind toward the Caribbean. Here, mornings begin with birdsong and end with lantern light. Nothing is rushed, and everything is considered.
02What we believe

The Jungle
Native palms, chit and ceiba trees surround every villa. We plant more than we take, and let the forest grow back into the paths.

The Water
Inspired by the cenotes of the Yucatán, our pool is clear and calm. It is a quiet mirror for the sky and the canopy above.

Slow Living
Barefoot mornings, long lunches and Maya-inspired rituals. We follow the rhythm of the land, not the clock.
We did not build in the jungle. We asked the jungle for a little room.
